Covid19 Update

Fine Arts at the Mountain COVID19 Update

MUSIC SCHOOL INFORMATION

IN-HOUSE CLASSES:
Our newly remodeled studio offers private entrance if you like and a plexiglass divider between teacher and student.

On-line Classes:

We offer two types of on-line classes: JamKazam & Skype.  Depending on the instrument and study would determine your interest.  JamKazam has the experience of a recording studio.  This platform allows the instructor to play along with the student as well as invite other musicians as well.  This set up is more detailed and hardware is needed at the students end.  Skype; however, is also the other option yet does have some limitations.
Though on-line teaching is not new to us, with the extra demand additional setup and planning are needed to make your on-line learning experience the best it can be.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Our policy stands the same, if you or your child have symptoms of an illness, or any concern that you may have been subject to any illness you are expected to phone the Office 931.463.2400 and cancel your lesson.  You may refer to the reschedule policy on your contract or in your student portal for any questions you may have.
Students who travel out of town may need to take their following lesson on-line leaving time for quarantine.  Students must notify office of any travel plans

PRECAUTION:
Our precautions here at our Studio are to keep our environment clean and safe.  It is not new for us to clean instruments that are played by wiping down strings and keyboards; however, extra precaution is being taken.  Before any instruments are played hands must be washed.  Hand sanitizer is available throughout the store and studios.  We have masks available at no charge for anyone who would like one; however, it is not mandatory.  If you wear a mask and would prefer staff to wear a mask while shopping, please do not hesitate to inform us and we will gladly make the adjustment.

PREVENTION:
The best way to prevent infection is to take everyday preventive actions, like avoiding close contact with people who are sick and washing your hands often.

Hours:
New Hours:  Tuesday - Friday 10am - 6pm; Saturday 10am - 4pm -

RECITAL:
Recitals are postponed until further notice. We will make some video's on line and post them with your permission via our you-tube channel.

MUSIC SHOWROOM THOUGHTS:
We are a full line music store where you should be able to find most of your needs.  You can shop in person or visit our on-line store at www.fineartsatthemountain.com for any of your musical needs.  In some areas on our web-site prices may not reflect the discounted price, so please, give us a ring and we will adjust the price. What makes selecting an instrument from us unique is every instrument goes from the box to the bench to ensure every instrument performs to the maximum.
With our new remodel, we added more space to our showroom.  During the Covid interruption we like to have only 4 folks in the floor area at one time and the studios may occupy couple (2) while trying out instruments.  There is seating out front and on the side of the building if the store is full.  You may also phone to make an appointment, or if you like, check out items on the web beforehand and we will place them in the studio for you to come try out.  you may use the studio entrance if you wish for no contact at all.
In addition, we offer shipping or curb-side pickup.

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS:
If you've been thinking of getting a new or first time instrument, now is the time.  You won't find a better savings.  This is one way we may help to bring a special memory in a difficult time.  A place where Product, Service & Savings is Paramount...  Our motto is Music Is What Life Sounds Like and especially in this time, learning to play or (if you already play) is a great expression of sometimes what words can't say.  Fill your home with the sounds of music!  It is also a good time to freshen up your instrument with new strings, clean the fingerboard, polish frets, new reeds, strap or pedal.  Drop off your instrument and we will freshen it up for you.

ENCOURAGEMENT:
Our encouragement is to be Safe, Careful, Smart, Informed, Alert, Prepared, Kind, Smile, No Stress, Make Music, And Know Jesus. For it is written "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ...Matthew 11:28-30 -  heavy-laden - burdened by cares; "all ye that labor and are heavy-laden" - Matt.11:28. - troubled - characterized by or indicative of distress or affliction or danger or need; "troubled areas";...

Let us know if there is anyway we may help or pray for you!
Blessings,
Michael & Netta Karr
