Calendar
Our course calendar is divided into three sessions throughout the year. Students may enroll anytime during a session.

SESSION 1: January - April
SESSION 2: May - August
SESSION 3: September - December

Sessions 1 and 3 conclude with a recital.  Each session consists of 12-15 weekly private classes at 30 minutes per class.  Group classes consist of 45 minute - 60 minute classes.  New applicants are to schedule an evaluation to determine curriculum and placement. Evaluations are held at no-fee.

Group Study



Our Group Guitar Classes run 8 weeks and are offered all year round (enrollment criteria). Students may enroll in our beginner or intermediate classes based on skill level. They are 45 minute - 60 minute per class and meet once a week. Topics covered are: Chord Strumming, Finger Picking, Note Reading, Blues Style, & Music Theory.
Classes available for all ages.

Our Group Violin Classes run 8 weeks and are offered all year round (enrollment criteria). Students may enroll in our beginner or intermediate classes based on skill level. They are 45 minute - 60 minute per class and meet once a week. Topics covered are: Classical Studies, Celtic, Bluegrass, Bowing Technique, Solo, Ensemble & Orchestra music. Classes available for all ages.

Our General Music Classes run 8 weeks and are offered all year round (enrollment criteria). This program is designed to introduce various instruments, discover rhythm and melody in an ensemble environment. Vocal, ear training, music appreciation and music theory are also covered in this class. This class provides the opportunity for students to gain interest in an applied area of study.



Master Classes


Classes, workshops, conferences and music camps are concentrated intensive studies that are formatted for day, weekend, or week events and offered throughout the year. Topic, content, fees and availability vary. These classes are held off campus or in the Fine Arts at the Mountain music shop in Sewanee, Tennessee. Check with the FAATM office for more information.
Virtual Studio


All virtual classes must be approved for audio and visual. In order to insure the quality standard for excellent studio study, FAATM has designed and made available for you the equipment and instruction needed for your virtual studio. Our retail department guarantees lowest cost and highest quality for our students. The Fine Arts Director, will guide you in this process. These classes are held online so no need to come by the Fine Arts at the Mountain music store in Sewanee, Tennessee.
